Cornelius Muller '93 was on hand April 30 at The Lamb's Chapel in Haw River, N.C., to enjoy the premiere of his film, "Brother's Keeper"' The film, which centers around a religious man whose brother commits a violent crime, starred in and produced the film. “The message of the movie is that you can forgive a person without excusing the act,” says Muller, who adds that while the film is based in Christian principles, it’s intended for all audiences. “It brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life.”
Students and staff at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ played sginificant roles in the film as part of the production crew. Associate Provost Connie Book helped Muller coordinate ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s resources, and her husband, Dewayne Book, wrote the film’s original score. A local physician, the latter Dr. Book is studying music at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ.
