Laura Roselle, professor of political science, attended the American Political Science Association annual meeting in Washington, D.C., from Sept. 2-5 and presented a paper, "Strategic Narratives of War: Media Stories about Partners During Protracted Conflicts," on a panel titled The New Fourth Estate: A Comparative Panel on the Shifting Relationship between Media and Government.
She also served as the discussant on the panel New Media & Political Opportunities: Structures in Comparative Perspective.
In addition, Roselle served as program chair for the Political Communication Section Preconference held at the George Washington University on Sept. 1. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ joined with Georgetown, George Washington, the University of Texas-Austin, and Duke University to sponsor the preconference, which brought scholars from around the world to discuss Power and Strategy in a New Communication Environment.
