The third annual ������Ƶ MBA Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, June 26, at Mill Creek Golf Club in Mebane. The tournament is sponsored by the ������Ƶ MBA Student-Alumni Association. All proceeds will go to the ������Ƶ Academy, a college-access program for academically talented high-school students in Alamance County with financial need.

Within hours of receiving his diploma on Saturday, Kyle Johnson will drive to Georgia to train for a service program that will take him to 11 different countries in as many months. His inspiration? A “bucket list” his father compiled – and mostly completed – before dying on New Year’s Day.

Polly Cornelius, a lecturer of music, was a featured guest soloist with the Winston-Salem Symphony Orchestra on May 16 & 18 at the Stevens Center in Winston-Salem.
