Paula DiBiasio from the Physical Therapy Education department facilitated a session on WordPress blog usage sponsored by Teaching and Learning Technologies on April 16.
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is now hosting an installation of WordPress Multi-User blogging software. This means faculty can create course or program blogs, accessible with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ usernames and passwords. Faculty members and their students can instantly publish written and photographic material that can be used as a part of a teaching strategies repertoire.
Course blogs can be used by faculty and students to create collaborative Internet resources, to journal out-of-class experiences, to reflect on course activities and course readings, to publish student creative work and to create virtual course Web sites with multiple contributors.
