Documentary by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ alum to be aired on One Africa TV

A 2009 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ alumna will have a documentary she produced as a student broadcast this month on One Africa TV. Erin Barnett's film, "My Name is Anita," introduces viewers to Anita Isaacs, a former Periclean-in-Residence at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ and an HIV/AIDS activist in Namibia.

President Lambert receives Periclean Service Award

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ President Leo M. Lambert has received the 2010 Periclean Service Award from Project Pericles, the organization's highest honor. The award honors an individual for his or her visionary commitment to civic engagement and outstanding contributions to Project Pericles.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ young alum honored by Wake County Public School System

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ alumnus Preston Williams Jr. ’09 was named one of four recipients of this year’s Diane Kent-Parker First Year Teacher Award in the Wake County Public School System, which serves more than 139,000 students in North Carolina’s second most populous county.
