Thirty-eight students enrolled Jan. 4, 2010, in the DPT program in the Department of Physical Therapy Education. Their enrollment marks ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s eighth class of DPT students.

Students in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Interactive Media master's program will soon be flashing their passports and traveling to foreign countries as part of their Winter Term fly-in experience. The entire inaugural class has been broken up into four groups, each of which will be led by a faculty member in the School of Communications.

Michael Kingston, associate professor of biology and environmental studies, has published a research paper, "Growth and Motility of the Diatom Cylindrotheca closterium: Implications for Commercial Applications."

Two ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, juniors Christina Cooper and Qiao-Yi Joy Zhou, have been awarded Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships to help fund their Spring 2010 semester study abroad experiences.
