D.E.E.P. or the DIversity Emerging Education Program is holding our annual, week long celebration of diversity:
The days include:
Wednesday (10.07.09): “The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Challenge”
6 p.m. in front of Alamance
Come try our obstacle course through some of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s most used buildings, but things are quite as easy as they may seem. Are you up for the challenge?
Thursday (10.08.09): “Difficult Dialogues: Comparing Experiences” Co-Sponsored with the Black Cultural Society
6:30 p.m. LaRose Digital Theatre
We are co-sponsoring a panel discussion with audience questions about the experience of minority students attending a predominantly white institution and those attending a historically black college or university. We will have representatives from five different schools! All students are encouraged to attend
Friday (10.09.09): “Org Kickball”
6 p.m. KOBC Field
We want to invite the organizations we want to work with closely throughout the year to a sort of get to know you game of old fashioned kickball! What better way to start off a working relationship? Please bring as many members to the game which is being held in the field behind KOBC at 6 pm. Please talk to your liaison with any questions.
