The Student Bar Association at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law, in conjunction with the law school, is pleased to host the second annual Family and Friends Day at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law, Saturday, September 26.
This event brings together family and friends to learn more about the law school experience.
The following programs are planned for Family and Friends Day at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law:
8:15 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Registration and Continental Breakfast
8:45 a.m. – 9:10 a.m. Welcome by SBA President and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Dean
9:10 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. A History of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ by Dr. Earl Danieley
10:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Break
10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Mock Class and Panel (ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Professors)
11:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. Break
11:15 a.m. – 12:00 noon Mock Class and Panel (ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Professors)
12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. Self Guided Tours of the Law School
In addition, there will be a variety of activities for everyone and all ages are invited to attend.
In conjunction with Family and Friends Day, the Sports Entertainment Law Society is staging a performance of A Thousand Kites on Friday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the law library. We hope you will join us for this annual event as well. There is no cost for admission.
Please pre-register for Saturday activities by September 18 by sending an e-mail to sba@elon.edu. Please include your name, address and the name of any guests, and specify if you will be bringing children (ages 10 and under). Activities have been planned for children.
