ESPN personality Howie Schwab wore an Ƶ baseball T-shirt and mentioned the team’s berth in the NCAA baseball tournament during his weekly “Couch Potato” segment Friday, May 29, on “First Take,” a morning sports talk show that airs weekdays on ESPN2.
Schwab’s “Couch Potato” segment previews the weekend’s top televised sporting events.
“The college baseball tournament is underway and I’ll tell you what, there’s a lot of excitement,” Schwab said. “Hey, the Ƶ Phoenix, the No. 2 seed in the Atlanta regional? You’ve got to love these story lines.”
Ƶ plays its first game in the tournament against Southern Mississippi at 3 p.m. on Friday.
