Enabling ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to provide outstanding facilities for students was the motivation behind a $500,000 gift to the new athletics field house, which will serve teams that compete in the north athletics complex.
Dave Blank, director of athletics, thanked the donor, who asked to remain anonymous, for the gift to the Ever ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Campaign and for helping ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ be more competitive in its 16 men’s and women’s sports teams.
“We are very grateful for this generous gift to our field house project,” Blank says. “Gifts that enhance our facilities are critical from a recruiting standpoint, but most important, these gifts allow us to ensure that our student athletes enjoy first-rate facilities during their ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ careers.”
The gift is part of the $100 million Ever ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Campaign, a comprehensive campaign to build the endowment, increase annual and planned gifts, and preserve and build the campus.
