George R. Johnson Jr., a distinguished lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in government service and education, has been named the second dean of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law. Johnson’s appointment by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ President Leo M. Lambert comes after a five-month national search, and is effective immediately.

W. Eric Hinshaw, chairman of the board and CEO of Kingsdown, Inc., was honored at an April 2 luncheon with the Frank S. Holt, Jr. Business Leadership Award, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s highest honor for business leadership.
