New faculty member: Henry Gabriel, visiting professor of law

Henry Gabriel comes to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, where he has served on the faculty since 1984. Since 1998, he has been the De Van Daggett Professor of Law, teaching courses in contracts, commercial law, Federal appellate advocacy, international arbitration and international business transactions.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Academy receives grant for business program

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Academy, a three-year enrichment and leadership development program at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ for local high school students, has received a grant from the Piedmont Triad Partnership to assist with a program that helps the teenagers prepare for internships and learn workplace behavior expectations.
