ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alum Deborah Yow ’74, now serving as director of athletics at
the University of Maryland, will be the first woman ever to head the
Division 1A Athletic Directors’ Association when she takes office in
September.

of the first ever Student Initiative Grants awarded by the Kernodle
