News 14 Carolina covered an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ-sponsored event for local high school students held on campus Feb. 9, 2008. The “Road to Success 2008,” hosted in conjunction with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy and Alamance Citizens for
Education, invited middle and high school students who live in Alamance
County to take part in a half-day program that encourages adolescents to think more about what they can do
today to prepare for college.
