He is involved in several organizations at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, including Sigma Chi fraternity and the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Interfraternity Council. He is a founding member of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a national sales marketing and management fraternity. Jay has also studied abroad twice, including a senior year trip to Peru.
Jim and Becky Myers are active members of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Parents Council, often hosting events at their home for new ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ families. They are dedicated donors to the university, making regular gifts to the Parents Fund and the endowment.
The Myers family created the scholarship to help make a business education available to a greater number of gifted students. The merit-based award will be presented to business students who exhibit strong financial need and excellence in leadership, character and intellect.
