ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ trustee Jeanne Robertson will be featured during the 10 p.m.
newscast on WGHP-FOX 8, Wednesday, Feb. 14. The segment, titled
Newsmakers, is hosted and produced by news anchor Neill McNeill. The
weekly feature offers in-depth interviews with local figures in various
walks of life who are making a difference in the Triad region.
Robertson
and her husband, Jerry, are long-time supporters of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s athletics
programs and the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Athletics Foundation and made a major gift to
fund construction of Dr. Alan and Norma White Field at the new Belk
Track complex. The Robertsons also made a generous gift to name the Alan White Bell Tower at the North Athletics Complex.
Jeanne Robertson delivered the Commencement address at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in 2005. She is a nationally known professional speaker and humorist. The Robertsons’ son, Bailey “Beaver” Bowline, is a 1989
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ graduate.
