Winston Cup driver Jeff Green and crew chief Mike Beam held a question-and-answer session with students in Doug Glass’ Business of NASCAR course Friday, Jan. 24 in Long 106.
The event wrapped up a busy January for students in the course. They visited several race tracks and team shops, including a trip to Bill Davis Racing headquarters in High Point, N.C., for its annual Media Blitz event. Students had a chance to meet and talk with the team’s high profile Winston Cup drivers, Kenny Wallace and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alum Ward Burton.
Emily Rozelle, vice president for administration for NASCAR in Charlotte, visited the class Jan. 23 to discuss NASCAR’s business model and future strategies.
