ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is mentioned in an Aug. 22 National Public Radio story on college rankings. The story was a followup on a Washington Monthly story. Details...
The NPR story included an interview with Washington Monthly editor Nicholas Thompson, who is critical of the annual college rankings done by U.S. News & World Report. He is calling for US News to include rankings from the National Survey of Student Engagement, which has named ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ one of the top four schools in the nation on five benchmarks of academic excellence. Thompson noted that NSSE findings reveal that “these four schools did a great job in educating their students.”
