Van Horn will become the 12th president of Brevard on Sept. 30. He began his higher education career at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, where he served in several roles, including director of development, director of alumni and parent relations and director of student activities.
He was an outstanding student-athlete during his undergraduate years, earning Academic All-America honors with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ men’s basketball team in 1981 and 1982.
