The Computing Sciences Department is offering a series of 2 semester hour courses to provide students an opportunity to learn concepts and problem solving tools that will increase their productivity both at Ƶ and in the workplace. These courses can be taken at a variety of times during either the first half or second half of the semester. The new two semester hour courses are: CIS 112 Problem Solving with Spreadsheet Applications using Excel, CIS 113 Introduction to Database Systems using Access and CIS 114 Introduction to Web Site Development using FrontPage 2002. Note: Credit for these courses cannot be earned if you have already taken CIS 116.
Ƶ students are entitled to a free copy of Microsoft Office Professional. The Ƶ environment reflects the industry environment where personal computers with Microsoft Office exist in a large percentage of the offices. If you are currently enrolled for 16 hours, the tuition you are already paying will cover an additional 2-hour course at no extra charge.
