ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s interactive Alumni Web site, found at registered its 3,000th ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alum this week! In June 1999, the original site was designed and donated to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ by Eric Cone, Class of 1998. Since that time ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has provided support to the site with improvements and upgrades. On March 8, 2001, a new server was installed and at least 3,000 alumni have registered since that date.
The initial level of the alumni Web site is viewable by all visitors but the second, interactive level is available only to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumni. It is at the interactive level that alumni can search for the names of classmates by class year, major, interest (i.e. fraternities, sports), city and state. Once found, alumni may click and e-mail other alumni.
