Distinguished Persons to be Honored at Alumni Awards Brunch on Nov. 4, in McKinnon Hall.
Distinguished Alumna of the Year:
> Kerrii Brown Anderson ’79, Dublin, OH. Kerri has distinguished herself in
her profession as Executive Vice President and CFO of Wendy’s International,
Inc. and is involved as a Director, Board Member and Advisor for several
community organizations.

> Alumni Service Award:
> Margaret Patillo Cass ’57, Greensboro, NC. Margaret has gone above and
beyond the call of duty to serve her community as a Board Member of the
National Federation of Music Clubs and has served her fellow man by
contributing verve and enthusiasm for the fine arts.
>
> Citizen’s Service of the Year Award:
> R. Cruse Lewis, Burlington, NC. Cruse has been instrumental in the
advancement of the College through the giving of his time in his pursuit of
funding from others for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, the giving of his energy in making personal
calls and visits to potential donors, and the generous giving of his
personal resources to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

> Service to Church and Society Award:
> Marvin L. Morgan ’71, Atlanta, GA. Marvin’s life demonstrates service to
church as an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ and service to
society as a worldwide leader in providing theological education.
