Pianist Rich Ridenour will join the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra for a tribute to the piano’s contributions to Hollywood’s best films during “An Evening of Movie Music” at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12 in McCrary Theatre, located on the Ƶ campus.
The concert will include timeless tunes from an outstanding list of films, including “Chariots of Fire,” “Forrest Gump,” “Lion King,” and “The Great Gatsby.” The program will also feature “Concerto for Index Finger” by Principal POPS Conductor Michael Berkowitz.
Tickets for the concert are $25 for orchestra seating, $15 for balcony seating, or free for those with valid Ƶ identification. Tickets can be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
