A three-day grid computing workshop was held at Appalachian State University from July 29-31. The workshop was attended by faculty and graduate students from 13 colleges and universities in North Carolina. On Saturday, Joel Hollingsworth led a four-hour workshop on the development and deployment of grid services. On Sunday, Joel and Dave Powell presented the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ NCREN course on Intelligent Decision Making that they team taught in the spring of 2005 to students from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, Appalachian State University and Western Carolina University.
