Hal Walker, associate professor of leisure/sport management, and several students gave a presentation at the North Carolina Recreation and Park Society Conference Nov. 16 in Hickory, N.C.
Their presentation was titled “Event Planning ~ Theory and Practice.” The group discussed theoretical and practical aspects of special event planning. Four ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students discussed practical applications of their experiences in the LSM 227 Event Planning class and internships.
