ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s RSA won several awards at the Run for the Roses SAACURH conference, held Nov. 19-21 at the University of Louisville.
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s delegation was selected as one of three schools at the conference for the Rose Garland Spirit Award. In addition, several ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students gave presentations, including Tom Kernan’s program titled “Run for Leadership: Racing to Opportunities and Acheivements.” Katie Radcliffe and Dwayne Waite presented “Survival Bingo” and earned a Top 33 Program Award, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s first such award.
The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ delegation is also working with a group from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to bring a leadership retreat for all NCARH schools to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in April. The group also raised more than $175 to give to Kosair’s Bears, a philanthropy related to the national conference.
