ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ won a 12-team tournament hosted in Jordan and Alumni Gym on Saturday, Oct. 2. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ came out on top in pool play with an 8-0 game record and received a bye in the first round of the tournament. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ defeated UNCW in the semifinals to advance to the finals vs. Appalachian State. Scores for the final match were 25-19, 23-25, and 15-13. It was a very exciting final match, but in the end ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ pulled it out to clinch the tournament title. This win will increase ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s national ranking.
