University Relations wins 7 CASE awards

The Office of University Relations has received seven awards in the annual communications competition sponsored by CASE District III, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Higher Education. The awards were announced at the CASE convention held Feb. 22-24 in Atlanta.

The awards included the following:

Award of Excellence – Category: Media relations total program

– For ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s total national media relations initiative

Award of Excellence – Magazine publishing improvement

-For improvement in overall quality of the Magazine of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ

Award of Excellence – Magazine publishing – schools under 5,000

-For the Magazine of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ

Special Merit Award – Institutional relations projects

-For the Leadership ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ program, a workshop held on a regular basis for trustees, students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ

Special Merit Award – Printed publications – annual giving campaign

-For the annual giving campaign brochure

Special Merit Award – Feature writing

-For Jaleh Hagigh’s Magazine of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ story “Loving Whit”

Special Merit Award – Internal Newsletters

-For the @ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ employee newsletter
