Top jazz band students will conclude a two-day festival on the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ campus with a concert at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts.
The concert will feature a combined performance by the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Jazz Ensemble and an all-festival ensemble of the top middle school and high school musicians at the festival. The ensemble will join this year’s guest clinicians, Ira Wiggins and Thomas Taylor, together with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Jazz Ensemble, in a rousing finale hosted and directed by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Artist-in-Residence, Jon Metzger.
The concert is free and open to the public.
