Dolores Truitt ’53 receives ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Homes award

Dolores Truitt ’53 of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ received the 2003 Louise T. Barringer Award from the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Homes for Children Foundation Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The award recognizes Truitt, a longtime member of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Homes for Children board of directors, for her tireless dedication to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Homes and the children it serves. Truitt is a former board chair and has served on many of its committees. Her father-in-law, Dr. John G. Truitt, Sr., was a former administrator of the organization.
