Nationally recognized organist Susan Moeser will give a concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 16 in Whitley Auditorium on the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ campus.
Moeser is a lecturer in music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she serves as university organist. She is a well-known recitalist and workshop leader who won the Fort Wayne National Organ Playing Competition. Active in the American Guild of Organists, her recent CD is titled “Susan Moeser Plays Bedient Opus 59,” and her ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ concert will feature selections from the album.
Tickets for the performance are $12, or free with valid ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ identification. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
