ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ seniors Leila Saliba and Victoria Smith and professors Thomas Tiemann and Steve DeLoach will have their paper, “Developing a Global Mindset Through Short-term Study Abroad,” published in the Journal of Teaching in International Business, Volume 15:1. Their research involved students enrolled in the Café Europa winter-term study abroad courses during January 2001-02.
The paper explains how the team used video-taped discussion sessions throughout the courses in an effort to have students think more deeply about their travel experiences. Funding for this research was provided by an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Carnegie grant. Additional support came from the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies and the Love School of Business.
