Members of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community took part in an installation service on Sunday, May 18 for Dr. Dan Kuhn, new senior minister at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Community Church.
President Leo M. Lambert and university chaplain Richard McBride participated in the service for Kuhn and his family, who came to the church in March from Nashville, Tenn. Kuhn is the 14th senior minister in church history.
Also participating were the Rev. Beth Kennett of the Eastern North Carolina Association of the United Church of Christ; Beth Schmidt, mayor of the town of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ; the Rev. Dian Jackson, associate pastor of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Community Church and the Rev. Arch Aitcheson, former pastor of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Community Church. The installation sermon was delivered by Dr. Stephen Camp, Southern Conference Minister of the United Church of Christ.
