ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s North Carolina Teaching Fellows program will host 50 Teacher Cadets from five area high schools Wednesday, March 6. The Teacher Cadet program is a course for high school students interested in a career in education. Students in the class study North Carolina’s education system and what it means to teach, in addition to field experiences such as their visit to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.
The students, who attend Cummings, Graham, Eastern Alamance, Western Alamance and Southern Alamance high schools, will attend a breakfast reception, an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ class and receive a tour of campus.
