ELON COLLEGE – Fred Melchor of Burlington recently was promoted to assistant director of information systems and technology at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College.
The Graham, N.C., native has been a computer support specialist at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ for two years. He has technical diplomas in digital electronics and auto mechanics from Alamance Community College. He has certifications in a number of computer operating systems and software programs.
